January 16: How to Start the New Year

I just saw an ad on television in which small electrodes were attached to a man’s muscles. When the electronic device connected to the electrodes was activated it caused the muscles to contract. It’s not the sort of thing you’d wear to work because it triggers uncontrollable spasms. But the manufacturer promises it will build strength and relax your muscles... without any effort on your part.

Some people seem to have it all... a quick mind... good looks... and a glib tongue. Add to that growing up in a family of influence and you’ve got a man who seems destined for greatness.
