What God Will Do When We Lock Arms

“The world has yet to see what God can do with a
man fully surrendered to him.” I don’t know who first uttered
those words, but I do know Dwight L. Moody often repeated the
phrase and then said, “Lord, let me be that man.”
Moody’s passion for God resonates in me. What
would the world see in such a man? What would his wife and
children see? How would he impact the world around him?
There is another statement I find equally
intriguing. It’s one that’s been rolling around in my mind
lately. Namely: The world has seldom seen what God can do with
an army of men who have locked arms and are marching forward in
obedience to Him. Certainly the world saw such an army in the
first century. God turned the ancient world upside down with
those devoted followers of Christ. And throughout history there
have been revivals—all sparked by individual men who locked arms
with other devoted followers of Christ.
What about today? You’re receiving this email
because you responded to an exhortation to allow God’s grace to
bring spiritual discipline to your life. My vision—one I hope
you can imagine—is of a million men simultaneously making the
four commitments of a mighty man. Ultimately, the prayer is to
spark personal and national revival—one man, one day at a time.
Such a vision could become a reality, but not without you. I
mean it.
Until now I haven’t challenged you—beyond the four
commitments. Now I’m asking you to lock arms with me and the
other men who will be receiving this email. Go to

will stoke your spiritual fires. And then—and this is the key
part—forward the site to some of your close friends and strongly
exhort them to listen to the message and forward it to some of
their friends.
Prior to last week the site wasn’t ready (I know—I
know—it’s taken longer than I thought it would, too). And while
the site is still under construction, men can go there, hear the
message and lock arms with the rest of us.
You are the Million Mighty Men Movement. It is a
grass roots, little money, no marketing company, no PR company,
no famous names—just ever day warriors for the Lord who believe
that we can show the world what God can do through an army of
men who lock arms and march forward in obedience to Him. By
God’s grace, revival will come one man, one day at a time.

revive your friend, and his friend, and his friend . . .
